*Important update: recent FAA regulations require that all Enstroms 10 years and older must have their spindles and Lamiflex bearings replaced with TT-Straps. Cost of the TT-Straps for a 3-bladed Enstrom is typically about $15K plus whatever the mechanic charges for installation. However, a permit can be obtained to fly a newly purchased, non-upgraded Enstrom to its new location; the TT-Straps must be installed for all subsequent flights.
