CONDITION: This Talon is complete, but requires repair of the main rotor mast. A small section of the mast’s shaft is corroded/rusted. Repair estimate: $2K to $5K. Otherwise, the helicopter is in excellent condition and has no other rust or corrosion. Once repaired, helicopter can be inspected to receive its U.S. airworthiness certificate.
FEATURES: Powered by an A24-162F supercharged engine, rated at 167hp, serial #7236, with water jacket, governor, and dual FADEC fuel-injection system. Has a shaft-driven tail rotor; composite main and aluminum tail rotorblades; cog-belt drive system with hydraulic tensioner; electric water pump; dual controls; doors; leather interior; seat belts; full instrumentation (Stratomaster Enigma EFIS glass panel, dual rotor-engine tach, ASI, compass, fuel level); avionics (Bendix/King KY-97A VHF Transceiver, Bendix/King LT-76A Transponder, GPS); lighting (nav.; strobe; position; warning lights for low-engine rpm); high-wide landing struts; under-belly cargo pod; ground-handling wheels; fire extinguisher; all manuals (build, maintenance, flight) and logs. Painted black.
Helicopter was factory built in South Africa. No rust or corrosion aside from small section of rotor mast; otherwise in excellent condition. Rated a 10/9 interior/exterior. Always hangar-kept.
